Application Criteria
Grants will be made to:
Grant requests should provide the following information:-
If the applicant is successful it is expected they will advise Romsey Town Council that their aims and objectives have been met. Failure to do so, will prejudice future applications.

Grants will be made to:
- Bodies whose activities promote or support Romsey Town and its residents (the tax payer)
- Support local activities with group involvement (vs. individual endeavour)
- Promote or support schemes which involve Romsey residents
- Support volunteer groups who in turn support Romsey residents
Grant requests should provide the following information:-
- What the Grant is for?
- Why is the Grant needed?
- How much do you want?
- How will Romsey or its residents benefit?
- Provide latest Statement of Accounts which includes income and expenditure and the state of reserves.
- Other bodies who will be approached to contribute to their scheme with the total sum being sort from other potential sources.
- The applicant needs to inform Romsey Town Council if they have had a previous grant how it was spent and indicate if the intended benefit was achieved
